Chemistry Lab of KHS

It was another boring practical day. Because we have to do a Chemistry practical every week, and that makes me called it 'boring'.

It was a Synthesis practical.

Not a difficult practical. We just have to mix all the mixture together and then that's it. We (me and group partner) are fast enough to use the magnetic stirrer. Because there was only 3 magnetic stirrer in the lab. Sad.
Thank God, we manage to use the magnetic stirrer. If not, we will have stir the mixture manually for......( I can't remember how long already).

Magnetic Stirrer.

It was kinda easy job, just that it is a bit too time consuming.
After that, we are free to do anything=) We are just there to wait for the end product.

So...... I was too bored and suddenly...... Here comes my inspiration of my blog post...

General view of the Chemistry Lab. And that is my Chem and class teacher, Mr. Kalirasan.

All the acids and base that we usually used.

But the labels were almost torn off and yellowish...Eww...

And the tables, full of masterpieces of the students @__@

The cabinets doors were no where to be found.

Disgusting sink.

Disgusting X2.

The fume chamber.

Actually, it's a rusting fume chamber.

Retort stand. But not all are functioning. We have to be fast grab it every time we are going to use, if you don't want to use a spoiled one.

All the chemicals are placed behind the lab.

The apparatus.

The trolley with some more apparatus.

Tanks of acids.

Ha, another speciality of KHS--Out of water. The labs are always without water. The toilets too. That's why, water is so precious in KHS.

After the stirring, we have to distillate the mixture. Waiting some more. z__Z

And lastly, I will end my post with a photo of me and my group partner. Haha!

Ice-Cream Date

The day before, I texted JY to date her after school tomorrow. The kind of feeling just came suddenly. Didn't really dated her for quite some time already.

Just a simply date between us.

We went lunch at Hailam Kopitiam. Which the food was bad, so I don't feel like writing about it. And there's no photos taken there. Therefore, I shall skip that part=)

We planned to eat ice cream after that. So, we walked around some shops there. To do some survey on their menu. Because there are 2 dessert shop there who are selling the same kind of ice cream. Just to play safe.

At last, we choose this ice-cream shop. Before we know it was a wrong choice......seriously.

#1
Mill Wheel. I think it was first time visiting this shop and it might the last time too.

Actually, I can't really recall what the name of the ice-cream we've ordered. Anyway, it doesn't taste nice thought. What for remembering it's name.

#2
The ice-cream we ordered.

We purposely took the picture of it. Notice that two lil' choco biscuit? The size of the biscuit is way too small to what we saw in menu. I can't believe they con people in this way. Anyway, the biscuit doesn't taste nice either.=/

#3
I think they magnified the pictures of the menu. In how many magnification do you think?

Of course, we camwhored too. How can we forget to do that?...... But the end product doesn't seems so satisfying to me.

#4
This what I called not satisfying.

=(((((((((((((((((((

This was the best among all. Accept it.

The Belated Birthday Post

Since I have taken photos, I think I shouldn't waste it.

Sorry that I didn't know it was their birthday on that day. I only realise it when I saw my classmates bringing a cake to the class.

Pengajian Am (PA) period was right after recess time. We waited the teacher at the corridor and was planning ways to surprise her.

When Puan Maizura stepped into the class and we started singing birthday song to her. OK, at least, we did surprised her. She didn't expect us to do that.

#1
The birthday boy, Wee Chun and birthday lady.
(I think birthday girl is not very suitable for Puan Maizura, no offense!!)

We took some class photo with teacher.

Puan Maizura was planning to give us an essay in the class. But, her teaching plan failed! Haha!

#6
My lil' gift.

It's not just us giving teacher present that day. Puan Maizura also rewarded the top 3 scorer of PA in the  our class. And, I'm one of them!! So proud!! It's my motivation to work harder in my PA. Thank you, teacher!......

Long Time No See

This blog entry was supposed to be posted "once upon a time ago". Due to my laziness, it had been procrastinated until now. Ya, I'm a lazy pig, happy?

As I had written in my previous entry, my uncle came back from UK last month. Along with his wife and their 3 years old son.

(Of course they went back to UK already la.)

#1
He's so hyperactive, moving non-stop, it's an mission impossible to take a nice photo of him.

#2
Failed again!!!

#3
Totally failed this time T____T

OK, professional!! (Yeah!!~)
We bought this little boy to the playground. And, he started enjoying himself like his house, with bare foot. *zzz~*
And, carrying him is like doing a weight-lifting exercise. He's OMG-heavy. I mean, a lil' heavy for a 3 years old boy to be.
He can finish a small rice by himself already at this age. OMG-geng!!
But he is still adorable la.>.<

[Drama] What I Have Watched

OK, the drama that I have been saying is Glee.

"Journey" is a fitting title for the season finale of Glee, as New Directions (the high school show choir's name) concluded their full circle journey from the pilot episode.

I think musics can save all the writing for this post.

There are some really nice songs from the finale episode of Glee.

This is where their performance of "Faithfully," "Any Way You Want It," and "Don't Stop Believin'" had a lot of heart.

I love, love, love Will(the Glee Club's teacher whose with the curly hair) and Puck's(the bald guy) version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"!!

"Give up the Funk"

I think everyone almost cried or cried during this song, right? Including myself ,too. The lyrics was so touching~(sobs)

The last episode, well was a sort of farewell, and what do you expect in a farewell, lots of tears! Well, if you think so, then it was an ideal farewell, with lots of tears and people using tissue papers.

Well, for us, Gleeks(name for fans of Glee), like Mr. Schue said, "who cares what happens when we get there, when the getting there has been so much fun?"

I hope I won't have to wait too long for the second season.

And, I really hope that all my readers will really watch those videos that I have inserted and typed this post for more than an hour.
Do leave comments to show your appreciation.

[Movie] What I Have Watched

I have watched a lot of movies and drama during this two weeks of school holidays. Uncountable. But, there's a movie and a drama that I would strongly recommend to all my readers. So, you can consider that, it is the best of the best movie and drama! Haha!

Let's go with the movie first.

Bodyguards and Assassins (十月围城). I actually hated myself that I didn't watch this movie earlier. I think it has been a year after this movie was released. Arrgh!! I missed that fever period!!

But, I think it's better to be late than never, right?

I came to know this movie after it won the Best Film in the 29th Hong Kong Best Film Award.

And, something I didn't know too, at first. That is, the movie has such a huge cast!! I mean all those popular film stars like Donnie Yan aka IpMan(甄子丹), Tony Leung Ka Fai(梁家辉), Leon Lai(黎明), Nicholas Tse(谢霆锋), Simon Yam(任达华) and Jackie Cheung (张学友).

The storyline was very good. That I will give a rating 9/10.

I don't want to be long winded too. The movie tells the tale of an assassination plot against Dr. Sun Yat-sen(孫中山), the revolutionary who eventually led the opposition grounds that overthrew of the Qing dynasty and founded the Republic of China. (Actually, I didn't know what the movie is all about when I was watching at first, but I slowly know it along the movie=))

The setting was so nice.

So, it is some patriotism movie. Some Chinese historical movie. Maybe most of you all will not like it, because I think I'm a weirdo sometimes, I like something that is different from the others.

Seems a million miles away from modern HK that you and I know as Central HK.

Whatever it is, after watching this movie, I felt so proud to be a Chinese. It gives me a sense of origin and belonging.

Haha, I'm a Chinese!!

p/s: I didn't realised that this post was long already. I think I should stop here. I will continue about the drama on the next entry=)

Shopping Spree

We wasn't supposed to go shopping yesterday. We were supposed to go to KL and visit a skin specialist. To consult the doctor about both of my ankles which having some skin hardening and darkening problem. I will blog about that later.

Ended up the clinic's appointment was fulled. They won't accept patients anymore, no matter how we told them that we came a long way from Kajang by train.

So, why wasted the train fare from Kajang? And, we shopped from Sungai Wang to Berjaya Times Square the whole day.

#1
Outfit of the day. Haha!

We went Subway for breakfast before we start shopping. And, my sister and I just cam-whored around.
#2
Me and my Sister.

At the end, I bought a bag and some T-Shirt. Haha! Of course, I felt so happy to have something to bring home. Girls are always girls. Girls loves shopping!!

p/s: I wanted to blog about the outing with Jia Yee and Chui Peng. But, Peng had blog about it before I could. And, I guess it will be a waste of time to blog about something almost the same, right? So, just visit her blog to read about it.
