Chatuchak Market, a shopaholic's heaven

Chatuchak Market.

#1

Was the first place I visited in Bangkok. Everyone was raving about how great and big this market was, everyone recommended that I had to make a trip there.

It was very easy to get there via BTS (SkyTrain), take the SkyTrain to the last station called Mochit and a walking distance from Mochit station to Chatuchak Market.

It's a great place to find almost everything but it only open on weekends. You have to try to bargain to get the real price. It's really hot but if you're a bargain hunter(like me) and in the bargaining mood, you will find it fun. Just get ready to bargain!!

Very happening. A lot of affordable and attractive things being sold there. If you see something you like, buy it or chances are, you won't be able to find the same shop again.

Nearby are the snacks stalls to eat and drink.

Thai Teh Tarik.

# 14
Thai Pork Satay!!

#15

My favourite food in Thailand! Unlike Malaysia satay, the sauce is super delicious. Plus, you can't find pork satay in Malaysia too. It's only 50 bath for 10 sticks. Cheap!

#16
Thai Char Siew. Not very nice.

#17
Thai Pai Guat. Not very nice also.

Entertainment available too as well as food.

I seriously don't know what is this! His/her makeup is super scary. Is he a ladyboy?

#21
Handsome guy with Korean look! *heart melts

It’s huge, a freaking maze and it’s packed and stuffy, hot and crowded, i wonder how is anyone breathing inside. It’s a scam I tell you, the longer you walk, the more you buy.

#24

This place has a lot variety of handicrafts  and souvenir to offer.

It is like a “you name it, they have it” market.

Anything.

You. Can. Think. Of.

And everything you can’t think of, they have it.

Even feather duster.

No doubt, it was a good experience to see what Chatuchak market is about, minus the super duper hot weather.

I really like the clothes sold there. Cheap yet fashionable. And, it's mostly Korea style fashion.

Apparently, it is divided up in different areas and items, but i didn't understand so much of that.

I had a wonderful time here. It’s amazing and it is impossible to finish all 15,000 stalls even you have visited Bangkok more than 100 times. The place is super huge and you can get lost in any moment. Trust me!
