My 9 Days 7 Nights in China - Day 8 (Zhouzhuang Water Village)

Because it's already quite late when we arrived Zhouzhuang Water Village yesterday (although it's only5-6pm, but the day has already dark). So we requested to the tour guide, that we want to visit here again for photographing. Therefore, we woke about before 5.30am the next morning. If not, we must pay again for the entrance fees==". In conclusion, it's really worth=]

The breezy morning of Zhouzhuang Water Village.

Zhouzhuang Village has a reputation as the "Asian Venice"

Wendy and us. She really look like my second sis. Don't you think?

Thought of one TVB Drama <金枝玉孽>

We took a walk along the water, and saw some local AhMa doing chores such as laundry.

Despite the immense amount of people who visit, Zhouzhang manages to to maintain a wonderfully quaint feel to it. It was originally built over 900 years ago with many of the buildings remaining intact and much of the atmosphere maintaining an historic edge. The streets are cobbled with many of the buildings overhanging and shutting out much of the light.

I enjoyed cruising on the canal admiring the beautiful bridges sitting in a gondola. I have never been to Venice, Italy, but as far as I am concerned, I have had a gondola ride equal to one that can be offered there

The local famous dish: roasted pork leg. Yummy!!

Journey from Zhouzhuang to Shanghai took another 2 hours. Thank god. I had time to catch up on some of my lost sleep. And after we arrived at Shanghai, it's time for lunch again. And that's why I had gain some weight after this trip=="

Shanghai famous Steamboat!! But local Shanghai seldom eat pork, they usually serve mutton or lamb. Weird?!

Today was the last in China before we departed the next day. Really love China very much=] I love their wheather. Wish I had a chance go come again......
