My 9 Days 7 Nights in China - Day 7 (Hangzhou)

First stop of the day: Mei Jia Wu Longjing Tea Cultural Village (梅家塢龍井村)

It's a tea plantation which look almost similar as Cameron Highland's.

The statue of the LuYu (陸羽), the person who first definite work on cultivating, making and drinking tea.

The tea village.

Saw Clover leaves for the first time=]

Our tour guide in Hangzhou, 小魚. He's teaching us how to eat those clover leaves.

Longjing Tea (龍井茶) is a famous variety green tea in Hangzhou. It's a must-try item in Hangzhou. Most people go to Mei Jia Wu for three reasons: to drink tea, buy tea and eat Nong Jia Cai, or peasant family dishes.

Next stop: West Lake of Hangzhou (西湖)

Random pic while waiting for the boat ride=]

Our boat. Traditional dragon boat??

A closer look of the boat.
Me inside the boat.

The view of the West Lake from the boat.

Photographing by the West Lake.

The scenery beside the lake is really really beautiful. The backgrounds are just like fake.

Maple leaves.

The Leifeng Pagoda (雷峰塔).

Bicycles are for free in China if you return it within an hour. Very enviromental friendly=]

The last stop for the day: Zhouzhuang Water Village (周莊水鄉).
This place is a bit "kampung" but it's very beautiful. The historic buildings and canals were very interesting. For a very reasonable price you can buy a boat ride on the canals.

The water village at night.

The AhMa rowing the boat and singing.

More pics coming up tomorrow.........
